Tokoriki Island

Romance meets tranquility on Tokoriki Island – the northern-most island in the Mamanuca group and the perfect location for a honeymoon in Fiji.

This hilly, forest-clad island is ringed with gorgeous white-sand beaches that gently shelve into the warm turquoise waters of the South Pacific.

Try west-facing Liku Beach – one of Fiji’s finest beaches and perfect for sharing a magical sunset with your sweetheart. This white-sand beach shelves into a beautiful lagoon with safe swimming and good snorkelling at the reef’s edge.

Or scuba dive the offshore reefs and experience rainbow hued coral gardens, towering pinnacles, eerie tunnels and plunging drop offs. Try to spot some of the more than 300 types of soft and hard corals and 1200 species of fish – from tiny translucent gobies to vivid angelfish – than live in the surrounding cobalt blue seas.

Inland, choose from a network of undemanding walking trails that meander through tropical forest: stroll up to the 94m-high summit or to an ancient Tongan fortification set atop a cliff – both provide panoramic views towards the Yasawa Islands. Along the way, look out for pink-billed parrot finches and fruit doves.
