Marrakech has a subtropical semi-desert climate of mild winters and very hot summers.

Spring, from March to mid-June, is pleasantly warm, with minimal to no rainfall. At night, it can still get cold in March and occasionally in April, while the southern wind can bring the first hot days of 35°C (95°F) in March and April, and 40°C (104°F) in May.

Summer, from mid-June to mid-September, is sunny, dry and very hot. Temperatures can vary from a high of 30°C (86°F) to more than 45°C (113°F), with a night-time low around 15°C (59°F), especially in June and September. July and August are the hottest months.
