Malolo Lailai Island is the third largest of the Mamanuca islands and offers several walking tracks that meander through grassy hills to secluded beaches on the eastern side of the island where the lagoon offers deep water for swimming and snorkelling.
The western side of the island offers three beachside resorts, which provide a variety of facilities to suit all budgets and share a 7km-long, palm-fringed white-sand beach.
To the north, a narrow channel that can be crossed in ankle deep water at low tide separates Malolo Lailai Island from neighbouring Malolo Island.
Choose from three very different resorts that lie in landscaped gardens facing a long and scenic white-sand beach that shelves gently into a shallow lagoon.
Musket Cove Island Resort – This 3.5-star resort sits at the northern end of the beach and is well-known for its marina that cruising yachties call home from June to September. Accommodation ranges from charming one-room bures to condo bungalows and large luxury villas.

Plantation Island Resort – Further along the same beach on the other side of the island's small runway lies the ever-popular 3.5-star Plantation Island Resort, which offers a Club Med-style atmosphere with nonstop activities and prices to suit all budgets.
Accommodation options range from duplex bures and two-bedroom bungalows to motel-style rooms located on the beach, beside the swimming pool or set back within the landscaped gardens.
