Seasons

High Season: From December to April, especially during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Low Season: The wet season, from May to November, also known as the 'green season', brings less crowds, cheaper accommodation and, as the locals are quick to point out, it does not rain all day.

Note: During the wet season, choppy seas prevail on the western side of the islands. However, sea conditions remain calm along the eastern coasts, which are sheltered from the worst of the strong westerly winds by Phi Phi’s tall limestone mountains.
